Our railtour programme is still “on hold” at the moment; however, the project to fit Central Door Locking (CDL) and On-Train Monitoring Recorders (OTMR) to our main-line-certified fleet is almost complete — its current status is described on the News page. We will also need to secure the services of an appropriately-licenced railway operating company in order to run outings again.
We apologise for the disappointment which a lack of events is causing; and hope that we will be in a position to advertise excursions here once again before long. The fact that we were in a position to offer use of our 5-car train to another Train Operating Company, who ran an outing to Bournemouth with it on 28 June 2008, should provide some encouragement.
